We will create new wickets if there aren't enough runs in BPL, says Jalal

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) cricket operations committee chairman Jalal Yunus has vowed to rebuild Mirpur’s wicket and wait till Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) to see if the ground committee can bring up changes to the notorious wicket.
The pitch in Mirpur has been rated as "unsatisfactory" under the ICC Pitch and Outfield Monitoring Process recently, following the second Test match between Bangladesh and New Zealand.
The apex body handed one demerit point as well. This demerit point will last for five years. If it’s handed six demerit points in the meantime, it will be banned from holding an international Cricket match for one year.
Jalal said the board wants runs in the BPL and if the grounds committee fails to make good pitches they will think of rebuilding the pitches again.
“We always want to play in a good wicket. And I know it is possible to make good tracks in Mirpur. But we have noticed a chronic problem with the wicket. There are a number of wickets in the ground, some are very good tracks,” Jalal told to media.
“We will get the result in the upcoming BPL. We want to do a lot of runs during BPL. So we have to prepare pitches that produce a lot of runs. If that is possible then we will think about it. So let's wait for that or definitely, we will reconstruct wickets,” he added.
