Bangladesh team were busy practicing at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur when a fire broke out in the floodlights of the eastern gallery on Monday.
Mushfiqur Rahim and Najmul Hossain Shanto were batting in the match scenario in that time. For the fire incident, the team stopped the practice for some mements.

In the afternoon, the Bangladesh team were practicing closed doors under the floodlights. Grounds Committee Manager Abdul Baten confirmed the incident to Cricfrenzy.

The media were allowed a 15-minute slot for taking footage. The national team, however, resumed training shortly after.
"Floodlights catch fire due to short circuit. No major accident happened. We are working to fix it. Due to rain it is not possible to fix for now. Floodlights do not need to be replaced. The rest of the lights are on, now the cricketers are practicing.” Baten told Cricfrenzy.
