Shanto takes full responsibility for Bangladesh’s defeat

Bangladesh in-form batter Najmul Hossain Shanto lauded Tawhid Hridoy stating that he is enjoying his partnership with the young batter. Shanto praised Hridoy's intent and said the latter's presence made their job easier.

Shanto's maiden ton, Hridoy's vital 68 and Mushfiqur Rahim's sensible finish helped Bangladesh pull off their second-highest chase in the fifty-over format on Friday.

The duo batted quite a few times in the BPL for the Sylhet Strikers and Shanto believes that experience helped them understand each other's game well.
