According to the National Board of Revenue, Bangladesh Test and T20I captain Shakib Al Hasan, ODI captain Tamim Iqbal, and wicketkeeper-batter Nurul Hasan Sohan have become the top taxpayers in the players' category for the tax year 2021-22. (NBR).

The NBR has released the names of 141 individuals and businesses as the top taxpayers for the fiscal year 2021-22. A gazette has also been issued in this regard.

There are 76 of them who are individuals. Banks, non-banks, telecom service providers, engineering, food, energy, jute, spinning, textiles, pharmaceutics, print and electronic media, housing, readymade garments, and leather manufacturers were among the companies represented.
