Bangladesh aim to flip script in second innings

Bangladesh survived the third day of the first Test unscathed in their second innings, reaching 42-0 at stumps to leave them still needing another 471 runs against India to pull off the unlikeliest of victories.
Opener Najmul Hossain Shanto and debutant Zakir Hasan will resume on 25 and 17 respectively on the fourth day.
All-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz sees nothing but a Test result as he would like to watch Tiger batter taking responsibility in the upcoming two days to secure a historic victory.
"Obviously we will see a result in this match. Either we will win or they will win," said Bangladesh all-rounder Miraz.

"But our Batter need to take responsibility. The wicket is still good. Execution is very important" he said.

Earlier, Shubman Gill and Cheteshwar Pujara each struck a century as India took control of the first Test in Chittagong.
The visitors declared their second innings on 258-2 in the third session of the third day to set the home side a daunting 513-run target.
Bangladesh were all out for 150 runs in their first innings, leaving India the overwhelming favourites to secure victory.
Kuldeep Yadav, the left-arm wrist spinner, played a major role in India’s dominance in the ongoing opening Test against Bangladesh as he recorded a career-best 5 for 40 to deflate the hosts for the low total.
Having set an improbable target of 513, Kuldeep is confident that he along with Ravichandran Ashwin and Axar Patel will be able to give his team a 1-0 lead in the two-match series.
About the position of the match, Kuldeep feels that with 180 overs left across two days, Indian team has enough time to wrap it up.
“We are expecting more turn off the surface in the second innings compared to first innings" he said.
