In the ongoing 2022 Indian Premier League (IPL), players from the Delhi Capitals team have been ordered back into isolation after a net bowler tested positive for the dangerous Covid-19.
The defeat has cast doubt on their Sunday match at the DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai against the reigning champions Chennai Super Kings.

After six franchise members tested positive for the virus last month, the franchise members were put into isolation for the second time.
"One net bowler tested positive today morning in a test. Players have been asked to stay in rooms," IPL sources told PTI hours before their match against the MS Dhoni-led side.
Mitchell Marsh and Tim Seifert, as well as four additional support staff members, have previously tested positive for the virus. While all have come back negative, Marsh has been a familiar face since arriving at camp.
Due to the outbreak, their game against Punjab Kings was moved from MCA Stadium in Pune to Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai at the last minute.
