Bangladesh Test captain Mominul Haque stated that he never complained about sledging against the host South Africa.
During press conference on Thursday, Mominul reaffirmed his position that he never complained about sledging during the first Test of the series, stating that it's a common occurrence in cricket.
"I never complained about sledging. Because in cricket, sledging happens and you need to absorb it. And you have to take it very easily. I never actually complained about it," said Mominul.\

During the first four days of the Durban Test, Bangladesh remained competitive. However, a batting collapse in the Tigers' second innings resulted in the visitors being bowled for 53 as South Africa won the game inside the first hour of Day 5.
The skipper was confident and lauded the pace unit for their performance in the first match, though, he blamed the batters for their poor batting display in the final session.
"There are a lot of positives to take from the Durban Test. Taskin [Ahmed] and Khaled [Ahmed] bowled well, [Mahmudul Hasan] Joy and Liton [Das] also played very good knocks. We just batted very poorly in the final session. But I think everyone is in a very good and relaxed mood. Everyone is very confident," Mominul said.
