Abahani clinch DPL title after beating Mohammedan in final-day showdown

Prime Bank thrash Mohammedan Sporting Club by a massive 127 runs in the ongoing Dhaka Premier League (DPL) at the ULAB Cricket Ground, Dhaka.
In the other match, Hanuma Vihari’s ton powered Abahani Club Limited to register a commanding 6 wicket win against Brothers Union at BKSP-4 Ground, Savar.
Mohammedan vs Prime Bank
Chasing a mammoth 313-run target, star-studded Mohammedan managed to muster 185 losing all wickets in 38.3 overs.
Ariful Islam top-scored with 53 runs off 67 balls aided by 6 fours and a six. Mahmudullah Riyad (34) and Mohammad Hafeez (17) played brief innings.
Rakibul Hasan picked a four-for while Robiul Hoque and Mahadi Hasan picked a couple of wickets each for Prime Bank.
Anamul Haque smashed 94 in 94 deliveries which featured nine boundaries and 4 sixes. Soumya Sarkar was the pick of the bowling attack as he grabbed four wickets for Mohammedan.
Mohammad Mithun and Nasir Hossain scored 60 and 38 runs in the middle respectively. Mithun faced 74 deliveries and hit 4 fours and two sixes.
