Bangladesh Women's team captain Nigar Sultana Joty reckons Bangladesh must improve in taking control of difficult situations following a crushing 110-run defeat against India.

Bangladesh's batting crumbled in the face of a 230-run target and were bowled out for 119 runs. In her assessment, Joty emphasized on the lack of partnership.

"Controlling the nerves and the situation of the game, that's where we need to improve. We couldn't make partnerships in this or the last match, which has cost us," Joty said after the match on Tuesday.

Nigar heaped praises on the bowlers stated that they were able to put India in pressure.

"The bowlers did wonderfully today, as they have done in the last couple of matches. We put India under pressure and restricted them to a good total," the captain said.

Bangladesh will face two teams they are yet to play in ODIs, starting with the already-qualified Australia before rounding out the group stages by taking on holders England.
