Tamim Iqbal's brilliant unbeaten century overpowered Lendl Simmons' ton to help Minister Group Dhaka a comfortable nine-wicket win over Sylhet Sunrisers in a Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League match at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram Friday.
Simmons first hit a 65-ball 116 to lift Sylhet to a challenging 175/5 in 20 overs in a high-scoring battle of two tons.

The first hundred of the BBPL 2022 was scored by West Indian Simmons, who hit 86 boundaries - 14 fours and five sixes - with the second-highest score coming from the other opener Anamul Haque (18).
In response, it was all about Tamim (111* off 64), with Afghanistan opener Mohammad Shahzad (53) providing the supporting cast, as Dhaka cruised to victory with three overs to spare.
Dhaka avenged a seven-wicket setback to Sylhet in their first match at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur a few days ago.
With their second win in five games, the capital city side moved into the top four, while Sylhet has only one win from three games.
