Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) franchise Khulna Tigers have roped in former South Africa all-rounder Lance Klusener for this year’s mega-event as he is looking forward to working with Bangladesh star Mushfiqur Rahim and using his expertise to grab the silverware.
“I'm really looking forward to working with Mushfiq. I haven't had that opportunity before, but he's probably the smartest and toughest cricket brain and player in Bangladesh. So for me, it's a privilege to work with people like that. I'm looking forward to that relationship and I'm looking forward to supporting him as well in making sure that, as I said earlier, we get to a place where we can be competing for silverware in three weeks’ time. So I'm looking forward to that,” Klusener said to the media Wednesday.

The former Afghanistan coach stated that Bangladesh is probably the hardest place on the planet to come and play cricket, although he is hopeful that local players are going to step up to the mark.
“I'm looking forward to picking his [Mushfiq] brain, Bangladesh is probably the hardest place on the planet to come and play cricket and we've seen that with overseas teams that have come here. So, as I said, just going back to that point and that's why we focus quite a lot on making sure that our local players are going to step up to the mark as well” he added.
Mushfiqur-led Khuln Tigers will take on Minister Group Dhaka, a team heavily experienced with Mashrafe bin Mortaza, Tamim Iqbal and Mahmudullah in leading roles.
