Right-arm spinner Nayeem Hasan, who is set to play for Fortune Barishal, believes all-rounder Shakib al Hasan makes things easier for the bowlers.

"Playing with Shakib Bhai makes everything simpler because he can tell us in advance what to do, what's the circumstance, and he leads us, making things easier when bowling. Even when he was captain, he would say what the situation demands," he said.

Apart from Shakib, Barishal bagged stars like Chris Gayle, Mujib Ur Rahman and Danushka Gunathilakara in the team. He was optimistic for the team and said they are going to field a balanced side in the upcoming season.

Nayeem was optimistic for the team and said they will aim to win the BPL title in the upcoming season.

"I aim to win whenever I play, for any team I play for.  Inshallah, I will do my best to win for the side. We shall win the title if Allah wills," he added.
