Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi, known around the world as Boom Boom, has revealed his interest in joining the national team as a hard-hitting coach.
Last week, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) advertised for the coaching staff for the men's team. They added two new positions: high-performance coach and power-hitter coach.

In a press conference in Karachi, Afridi stated that no one from the cricket body has approached him about the matter.
“Nobody has approached me for the role of power-hitting coach. I will let you know if someone gets in touch with me,” said Afridi.
Afridi will be representing Quetta Gladiators in Pakistan Super League (PSL) season seven. It must be noted that Afridi will be playing his last PSL.
