BCL: Amite, Hridoy hit tons on Day 3

BCB North Zone vs BCB South Zone
BCB South Zone scored 350 runs losing three wickets at stumps on Day 3 during the second round of Bangabandhu 9th Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL) at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram.
Overnight batters Amite Hasan and Towhid Hridoy both hit hundreds and amassed a 258-run partnership for the third wicket.
Amite scored 131 runs off 373 balls including 12 boundaries before getting out. Hridoy reached the 150-run mark and remained undefeated on 159 runs with 13 fours and 3 sixes.

Earlier, South Zone scored 385 runs in the first innings with Naeem Islam smashing 137 runs.
Islami Bank East Zone vs Walton Central Zone
Walton Central Zone ends Day 3 on 87-1 in a chase of 199 runs during the second round of Bangabandhu 9th Bangladesh Cricket League at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Dhaka on Tuesday.
Central Zone requires 112 runs to win the match on the last day. While Md Mithun and Soumya Sarkar were batting on 42 and 33 respectively at the draw of stumps.
East Zone started the second innings with 18 runs lead after wrapping up Central Zone on 227. But East Zone failed to take charge in the second innings.
Following the batting disaster, East Zone managed to score 180 runs. Nayeem Hasan and Pritom Kumar put on a 103-run partnership for the seventh wicket stand.
Nayeem scored 68 off 88 and Pritom hit 54 off 56 deliveries while Hasan Murad scalped four wickets for Central Zone.
