Bangladesh spin bowling coach Rangana Herath believes the Tigers have to present their best game to win against the hosts Oman.

Oman registered a comprehensive ten-wicket win over Papua New Guinea on Sunday, on the other hand, Bangladesh suffered 6 run defeat against Scotland.

Herath said the home series of Australia and New Zealand have inspired them to do well. Meanwhile, he also praised the Scotland team for their win on Sunday.

“The Scottish boys played better than us. In the beginning, we bowled well, but in the end we bowled costly. Couldn't chase the target. Winning or losing is part of the game. We have had two good series in the country against Australia and New Zealand, which inspired us,” said Herath.

“There is room for improvement in batting and bowling. Mahedi and Shakib bowled really well. I watched the game in Oman. They played well against PNG. Our boys are very smart and experienced. If we can play our best brand of cricket, we can win against Oman,” he added.

Bangladesh are all set to face the hosts Oman in a do or die encounter to keep their hopes alive in the T20 World Cup.
