Following the opening leg of the National T20 Cup at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, some Pakistani players have requested that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) release them from the bio-bubble.
Since the national squad is due to leave for the forthcoming T20 World Cup following the conclusion of the domestic tournament's second leg, which will be played in Lahore till October 13, some players requested to leave the bio-bubble to see their families and have a few days off.

The PCB has permitted all-rounder Imad Wasim and pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi to leave the bio-secure bubble, while Pakistan skipper Babar Azam is still staying at the hotel in Lahore.
Because of the Covid-19 pandemic that shook the world last year, when everything came to a halt, the bio-secure bubble concept was born. The bubble's purpose is to keep everyone safe while they travel to different countries.
As evidenced by Chris Gayle's retirement from the Indian Premier League (IPL) earlier this week, the bubble may emotionally exhaust players and raise stress. One of the key reasons for the West Indian batsman's departure was'mental stress.'
It is worth pointing out that the PCB has allowed the families of the cricketers to travel to the UAE for the mega event.
