New Zealand inspection team of three-member has arrived in Dhaka on August 17. The inspection team will ensure the bio-safety zone of the hotel and the field.
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) chief physician Debashish Chowdhury confirmed their arrival to Cricfrenzy. He also said the New Zealand team would be in quarantine for three days.

“The inspection team has already arrived in Dhaka. They are on their way to the hotel. They will have to stay in quarantine for three days. At the end of the quarantine, they must undergo a corona test. We still don’t know when they will start their inspection,” said the physician.
“Since the biosafety zone has not yet been created, we want the inspection team not to visit the field for the time being. However, since they have come, they will want to see the field. After discussing this issue with them, a decision can be reached,” he added.
Two of the New Zealand cricketers, Finn Allen and Colin D'Grandhome, will arrive in Dhaka on August 20. The other members of the team will arrive on August 24.
The Kiwis were scheduled to play a warm-up match before the start of the series. But they don't want to play the match thinking about their health safety. They want to end the series with less movement.
The first match of the series will commence on September 1. The remaining four matches will be played on September 3, 5, 8 and 10. All the matches will be staged at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
