Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Kamran Akmal believes his country will have an advantage in the forthcoming T20 World Cup, which was originally slated to be held in India but was moved to the United Arab Emirates owing to the country's COVID-19 situation.
While speaking on his YouTube channel Akmal said why Pakistan will have an advantage in the tournament. “Pakistan should have the advantage in the T20 World Cup. We’ve played international cricket for 9 to 10 years in the UAE. That makes Pakistan the most experienced side under the conditions,”

Several T20 tournaments have been held in the UAE in recent years. The Pakistan Super League (PSL) was recently held in Abu Dhabi, and the Indian Premier League (IPL) will resume in September after being suspended earlier this year.
'Not only players from India and Pakistan but from other countries will also benefit going into the T20 World Cup since a lot of them play in both PSL and IPL. Given the conditions in the UAE, Afghanistan can also prove to be a dangerous side, looking at the players that they have. So, it is difficult to pick a favourite for the T20 World Cup,' Akmal said.
Due to Covid-19 surge in India, the BCCI decided to stage the tournament in UAE, where the 2020 edition had taken place.
