Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has started reorganizing the team ahead of the 2023 ODI World Cup as the country's cricket board has sent a youth team to Bangladesh leaving the seniors. Left-arm bowler Isuru Udana thinks that there is nothing to lose with this young side.
Despite being whitewashed in the recent tour of Bangladesh in New Zealand, Udana is respecting the Tigers. The experienced pacer also reminded that there are some great cricketers in the Bangladesh team. However, the left-arm fast bowler wants to give his best even though Bangladesh is a dangerous team at home.

“Honestly, there are several superstars in the Bangladesh team. On the contrary we have brought in young team but we have nothing to lose. We are here to beat them (Bangladesh). So we want to give our best. Because Bangladesh is very dangerous in their own field,” he said.

Bangladesh condition is not completely unknown to Udana. The left-arm pacer has come to play in Bangladesh several times. In particular, he has played several seasons in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
“I played 4-5 seasons of BPL here. Since then I have experience playing here. But if you want to win a match on a certain day, you have to give the best. We are moving forward with that plan now” he added
