Bangladesh cricket poster-boy Shakib Al Hasan’s ‘Biopic’ is coming soon as he has confirmed the news on Cricfrenzy live on Saturday. However, the production has been postponed due to the Corona pandemic.
“The talk went a long way. But everything is hanging because of Corona. But it was in a good position. The story was almost ready. Probably if all went well the work would have started. But due to Corona, everything has stopped. But hopefully if the situation changes we can start again from that place. It will take some time, though. I don't know if it's an exact update, but I will find out that.”
Biopics of cricketers are nothing new as many legendary cricketers including Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar and Azharuddin were featured in movies before.
After dominating the cricket field Shakib’s life will now be seen on the big screen. However, no biopic of any Bangladesh cricketer has been made yet.
