Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Nizamuddin Chowdhury said there will be no possibility of falling into bigger financial losses because of the growing coronavirus worldwide pandemic.
Clarifying his words, Chowdhury also said the fears they had around the extravaganzas of the International Cricket Council (ICC) and Asian Cricket Council (ACC) were removed with the rescheduling of those flagship events.
Bangladesh were scheduled to play a total of five bilateral series including two at home yard and three at overseas conditions beside the events of ICC and ACC respectively.
Of these series, they had Test series against top-fight Australia and New Zealand at home, while the remaining series were against Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Ireland.

The BCB meanwhile rescheduled the series against Sri Lanka and will travel to the island nation at the fag’s end of the current month to play a three-match Test series, starting on October 24.
“We lost two home series, where we had two Tests each against Australia and New Zealand. More income does not come from Test matches for which we are placed in a safer place,” said Nizamuddin Chowdhury.
“Though we are yet to count the amount of loss from our international schedule and ICC tournaments, we can say that we will not fall into any big loss,” Chowdhury told the media.
“But we have to accept a little bit of loss. It’ll not be a big amount of loss because those are being rescheduled,” he added.
“The loss is not estimable. It depends on ICC how they ink their deals with the sponsors. It is not a big loss in terms of financial aspect but it is a bit of loss. It’s not right to talk about it.”
