Bangladesh head coach Russell Domingo has said that he is now eyeing to make a house of young fast bowlers who are essential for the team to go a long way in international cricket.
Tigers have to play more games in overseas conditions for which the production of the quality fast-bowlers is the prerequisite to succeed for them. Targeting the thing in mind, Domingo said they are preparing their new plan for a long-term basis.
“I see a house of young fast bowlers and I think I would like to get them into the system. So those decisions we will need to make once we reassemble,” Russell Domingo said.

There is a cloud of anxiety of getting selected in the main squad of the 50-over event roaming around upon former skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza.
Mashrafe stepped down from captaincy on 6 March after the third ODI against Zimbabwe on home soil to give place to the next generation cricketers. He is 36 now. No way to deny that Bangladesh under Mashrafe’s captaincy has been more successful than anyone else, who won 50 in 88 matches that is incredible.
When asked regarding the 36-year-old medium-fast bowler, the head coach pushed the ball to the court of the selectors and Mashrafe himself. He said the decision of whether Mashrafe is going to play or not is totally up to them all.
“Regarding Mashrafe in the 50 over World Cup look that’s a long way away. Mashrafe has got to decide whether he’s available for selection, it’s then up to the selectors to decide whether they are going to pick him,” Domingo told a leading English portal.
Mortaza has been quite a constant figure in the ODIs for the last five years for the national team. But his performance as a right-arm medium fast-bowler didn’t give the team that much benefit from the last year World Cup where he managed to grab only one wicket.
And then, the talks from all the quarters are being held regarding his retirement from international cricket.
