Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal said that he is eyeing to make a comeback as he has no desire to run away after his disastrous World Cup journey.

He just scored 235 runs with one half-century to his name, averaging 29.37. That only half-century, a 62-run knock came against Australia who literally ended Tiger any hope of winning the match by piling up a huge 381 runs on the board.

‘’Tough, very tough. I will take some time to digest. I don’t know what will happen when I get back home. But I know me, I won't run away,’’ Tamim was quoted in several Bengali dailies.

Tamim added that his dropping Rohit Sharma that eventually turned the game for India won’t have a high scale on the psychological effect.

‘’These don’t affect me. If I had missed once again against Pakistan and we had our match on the next day, that bowler once again would want to field in that position. I have that confidence,’’ said Tamim.

‘’I drooped Rohit in Mustafiz’s ball. After that Mustafiz told me,” Bhai you have taken some brilliant catches in my bowling, if you miss, I don’t feel bad.” If I wanted I could have selected a safe fielding position. Nobody would have said anything to me. But I realized one thing that if I leave from that position, I wont be able to field there ever again. Fear will grasp me.  I fielded in the same position in the Pakistan match. I ran one end of the field to another and stayed in the catching position,’’ he concluded.
