Gazi Ashraf Lipu’s mother passes away

Former Bangladesh skipper Gazi Ashraf Hossain Lipu’s mother Mina Hossain passed away on Monday afternoon. She was 86.
She was suffering from old-age complications. She left behind two sons, a daughter and a lot of admirers as well. Mina Hossain breathed her last at about 4pm at her residence in Bashundhara, Dhaka.
She will be buried at the graveyard near Mohammadpur Eidgah maiden in the capital city.
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) expressed their profound sadness and condolence at the passing away of Mina Hossain.
BCB President Nazmul Hassan Papon, MP said in his condolence message, “On behalf of the BCB, I extend my heartfelt sympathies to the family members of the Late Mina Hossain. We pray to the Almighty for the salvation of her departed soul.”
Dhaka Abahani Limited, Bangladesh Sports Journalists Association (BSJA) and Cricketers’ Welfare Association of Bangladesh (CWAB) also condoled the death of Mina Hossain.
