Bangladesh Cricket Board president Nazmul Hasan said that if their board directors were found guilty law will take its own course.
In the recent one week BCB had to go through a lot hard time considering two of their board directors- Mahbub Anam and Lokman Hossain Bhuiyan- hogged the spotlight for all the wrong reasons.
The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on September 25 asked Mahbub to submit his wealth statement after allegations were levelled at him of amassing illegal wealth.
To make things worse, Lokman was arrested on September 26 a Dhaka court placed Mohammedan Sporting Club director in-charge M Lokman on a two-day remand in connection with a case filed with Tejgaon Police Station.
Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested Lokman Hossain on Wednesday night from his Monipuripara residence with four bottles of liquor and later police produced him before the court with a five-day remand prayer in a drugs case.
‘’If anyone is found doing anything wrong, he will be punished, there should not be any debate,’’ Nazmul told reporters on Friday.

If he(Lokman) is related with the issue, he has to go through the trial process. Whoever is involved he has to go through our existing law of the country,’’ he said.
‘’We want a proper judgment and the real culprit should get caught,’’ he said.
Nazmul said that they are not willing to make any judgement before they are convicted.
‘’Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) want the wealth statement of many people but that doesn’t define he is corrupted,’’ he said.
‘’The person we know- until anything gets proved, we cannot say anything because we are hearing so many things. The law enforcement should do their work. We have nothing to say about anyone on their doings,’’ said Nazmul.
