Mashrafe out injured due to knock


The hearts of the Bangladeshi people are very brave. After all, this is a nation were 3 million martyrs had to lay down their lives to achieve freedom. However, there are times when hearts as strong as ours also feels the shrill of fear flashing within in it.
Mashrafe opts to take rest

And one of those times come when the news of Mashrafe Bin
Mortaza’s injury appears. The ODI captain has a special place in every
Bangladeshis’ hearts as his fighting spirit makes him a character that can
never be disliked.
The Rangpur Riders’ captain is set to miss the dead rubber
against Dhaka Dynamites as he felt discomfort in his groin in the earlier game.
The former Comilla captain didn’t want to risk further aggravating the injury
and, as a result, decided to sit on the bench against Dhaka.
Even then, Mashrafe, wanted to play, but finally decided
against it.
“We have the tendency to keep winning, so that’s why I
wanted to play, but I am still feeling a bit of pain in my groin.
“I could have played the game, but I decided to not risk it.
There is a going to be a fight to play in the final, so I decided to take rest.”
In his stead, former Kiwi captain, Brendon McCullum, will take over the reins of the team against the Dhaka Dynamites.
