Following medical tests and an angiogram, doctors detected a blockage in his heart. As a result, he underwent an emergency procedure to have a stent placed. On March 26, he was transferred from Savar to Dhaka and admitted to Evercare Hospital, where he continued his treatment. After a few days of medical care, Tamim has finally returned home.

After returning home, Tamim shared an emotional statement:

"By the grace of Almighty Allah and your prayers, I am now home. These past four turbulent days have given me a new life and a fresh perspective on the world around me. Every moment has been filled with gratitude and warmth. Throughout my career, I have received immense love from you all, but this time, I have felt it more profoundly than ever. I am truly overwhelmed."

I am deeply grateful to match referee Debabrata Pal (Debu Da), the medical staff at BKSP, and everyone else who was there at that critical moment. Special thanks to the ambulance driver who rushed me to the hospital with such urgency."

"I don’t even know how to express my gratitude to our trainer Yakub Chowdhury Dalim Bhai. Later, I learned from specialists that if he hadn't administered CPR at the right moment, I might not have survived. Allah placed the right people by my side at the right time and brought me back from the doorstep of death."
