Following medical tests and an angiogram, doctors detected a blockage in his heart. As a result, he underwent an emergency procedure to have a stent placed. On March 26, he was transferred from Savar to Dhaka and admitted to Evercare Hospital, where he continued his treatment. After a few days of medical care, Tamim has finally returned home.

After returning home, Tamim shared an emotional statement:

"By the grace of Almighty Allah and your prayers, I am now home. These past four turbulent days have given me a new life and a fresh perspective on the world around me. Every moment has been filled with gratitude and warmth. Throughout my career, I have received immense love from you all, but this time, I have felt it more profoundly than ever. I am truly overwhelmed."

"From the moment I fell ill at BKSP, I was surrounded by incredible support. I am deeply grateful to match referee Debabrata Pal (Debu Da), the medical staff at BKSP, and everyone else who was there at that critical moment. Special thanks to the ambulance driver who rushed me to the hospital with such urgency."

"I don’t even know how to express my gratitude to our trainer Yakub Chowdhury Dalim Bhai. Later, I learned from specialists that if he hadn't administered CPR at the right moment, I might not have survived. Allah placed the right people by my side at the right time and brought me back from the doorstep of death."

"I must also mention Mohammedan Sporting Club's support staff member Wasim, who has been with me constantly since the beginning and remains by my side even now."

"I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Moniruzzaman Maruf and his expert cardiology team at KPJ Hospital. Their swift and professional response saved my life. I later heard from leading cardiologists that what Dr. Maruf and his team did was nothing short of a miracle."

"Every doctor, nurse, and staff member at KPJ Hospital who played even the smallest role in my treatment will always have a special place in my heart. The warmth and care I experienced there will stay with me forever."

"I was amazed to see such a high-quality medical facility with such skilled professionals outside of Dhaka. This is proof that our healthcare system is progressing. If similar hospitals are available across the country, many lives like mine could be saved."

"The list of people to thank is endless. Many individuals were involved in my recovery in different ways—some I know, some I may never know. But I am certain that none of them did it expecting gratitude. I am indebted to them for life."

"The road to full recovery is still long. Please keep me and my family in your prayers. May everyone’s life be filled with peace and happiness."

Love to all.”
