Bangladesh beat Sri Lanka and India to become unbeaten champions

That topic title got you, didn’t it? Well, it is true: the
Bangladesh cricket team beat the Indian and Sri Lankan cricket team to win the Special
Olympics 3rd South Asian cricket that is being held at Andra Pradesh
in India.
Bangladesh is a cricket-loving nation – as Captain Obvious
would say – but the team sent at the Olympics revealed how narrow our vision is
when it comes to the sport that we love the most. The whole nation becomes aware when the
national team, captained by Mashrafe Mortaza and the likes, locks horn with
other giants.
However, the fact that only a handful of people were cognizant
about Bangladesh’s glory at the Special Olympics is the testament to the fact
that our love is not for the game, but for the name. Nevertheless, that hasn’t
stopped the special ones to make their nation proud.

After defeating Sri Lanka and hosts India, Bangladesh won
the South Asian Special Olympics cricket as the unbeaten champions and will
return home on Thursday. The tournament took place between Friday and Monday with
20 players finding a place in the Bangladesh squad.
We at Cricfrenzy are proud of the boys and wish them the very best for bringing glory with their mighty efforts.
