“I should not comment on games from here. Because those who are there, I am sure they are trying their best. I don’t want to comment from outside, I'm not that kind of person. I am also part of the team. Trying to prepare myself quickly so that I can give my best when the opportunity comes. I think one should not comment on poor performance,” Tamim said in a showroom opening program in capital on Friday.

Bangladesh has been a very good ODI team in the last few years. That's why there is hope about the ODI format Asia Cup. Although this tournament is not performing as expected and Tamim is not willing to be disappointed now.

“Obviously, I'm watching the games. I must be disappointed if we don't play well. I don't think one or two poor performances will make me forget the hard work of the last five-six years. It could happen sometimes. I think we are still a very good team in ODIs. Even it is nothing to panic if one or two games played poorly. Everyone in the dressing room believes we are a better team than we have been in the last two or three games,” he added.
