BCB extends contract with Gamini till 2025

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has decided to extend the contract with the chief curator of Mirpur Gamini De Silva till 2025, a reliable BCB source confirmed this to Cricfrenzy.
The Sri Lankan curator’s contract with BCB was till July 31 of this year. However, the board signed a two-year contract with him before ending his term.
Gamini de Silva was an umpire after retiring from professional cricket. Later, the Lankan joined as a curator for BCB in 2009.
The Lankan joined BCB on a two-year deal in October of that year. With two local curators of Bangladesh, he gave test for the job and got the responsibility of curator.
After that, Bangladesh has spent more than an era extending the agreement in several stages and now the relationship between BCB and the chief curator extended for 17 years.
