Australia stalwart David Warner has stated that he is planning to hang up boots from the red-all cricket after the home series against Pakistan.
Warner revealed that he want to retire after the Sydney Test against Pakistan, leaving Australia requiring a new opener for Tests against West Indies in Brisbane and Adelaide.
Warner set to play the one-day World Cup in India later this year and hopes next year's Twenty20 World Cup in the Caribbean and USA will mark his last international matches.
"You've got to score runs. I've always said the (2024) World Cup would probably be my final game," Warner told reporters.

"I probably owe it to myself and my family -- if I can score runs here and continue to play back in Australia...If I can get through this (WTC final and subsequent five-Test Ashes campaign in England) and make the Pakistan series I will definitely finish up then."
Warner has played 103 Test matches for Australia, scored 8,158 runs with 25 hundreds and 34 fifties at an average of 45.57 since making his debut against New Zealand in 2011. Warner is also the seventh-highest Test run scorer in Australian history.
