Mushfiqur Rahim reached the milestone of 14,000 runs in international cricket after his outstanding performance with the bat against Ireland in the one-off Test in Mirpur, which Bangladesh won by seven wickets today.
After Tamim Iqbal, he is now the second batter from Bangladesh to reach this milestone.

Tamim has completed more than 15k runs and Shakib Al Hasan, who has 115 runs left, will soon catch up to Mushfiqur.

After scoring 126 in the first innings, Mushfiqur, who has now played 432 games in all formats, was eight short of reaching the milestone.
Before the second session of the fourth day came to an end, the 35-year-old quickly smashed a fifty off 47 balls, hit the winning run, and finished unbeaten on 51 as the Tigers easily chased down a 138-run target.
Mushfiqur was adjudged as the player of the match.
