Despite numerous reports claiming that Shakib Al Hasan will be cleared for the Indian Premier League (IPL) following the third T20I and that Litton Das will stay behind to captain the Test team against Ireland.
However, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is not likely to shift on its position, according to board president Nazmul Hasan, who made it clear again on Friday that the players’ won’t get No Objection Certificate (NOC) during the Ireland series.
"We informed [the IPL franchises] beforehand of their availability. I've said many times that if we change the decision, the BCB will let you know. We haven't done that," Papon said right after the presentation ceremony following the third T20I.

The one-off Test between Bangladesh and Ireland will begin on April 4 in Mirpur, and the BCB wants both Shakib and Litton to participate.
Fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman is the only Bangladeshi player competing in the IPL besides the duo. Mustafizur, a white-ball-only player who is not on the Test squad, will soon depart for the IPL to play for Delhi Capitals.
But his comment on Shakib's availability for the Test was unclear. "It [Shakib playing the Test] will come later. If he doesn't play the Test, it won't mean he will leave for the IPL."
