The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has reacted to the existing news that Pakistan's World Cup matches will be held in Bangladesh. The BCB chief has denied the fact and responded that BCB has no idea about it.

BCB CEO Nizamuddin Chowdhury stated that there has been no formal or informal discussion about the matter and that they are not aware of it.

"We are not aware of this at all. There was no formal or informal discussion about this. It is also to be considered how realistic the matter is," Nizamuddin stated to a local newspaper.

Earlier, ICC General manager Wasim Khan stated that a neutral venue is highly for Pakistan. He added that Pakistan's matches may also be held at a neutral venue, just like India's Asia Cup matches.

"I don't know if it would take place here in a different country but a neutral venue is highly likely. I don't think that Pakistan will play their matches in India. I think their matches will also be held at a neutral venue just like India's Asia Cup matches." Wasim Khan GM of the ICC stated.

The World Cup is scheduled to take place in October-November, but the BCCI and ICC are yet to announce the schedule.
