Hasnain to replace Shaheen in Asia Cup

Mohammad Hasnain will replace Shaheen Afridi in Pakistan's 15-member squad for the T20 Asia Cup 2022, which begins on 27 August.
Hasnain will join the team from the United Kingdom, where he is competing for Oval Invincibles in The Hundred.
Afridi was ruled out of the upcoming Asia Cup after being advised a 4-6 weeks rest by the medical team following an injury to the right knee ligament.

Hasnain, 22, has played in 18 Twenty20 Internationals for Pakistan, taking 17 wickets.
Meanwhile, Asif Ali, Haider Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed, and Usman Qadir will depart for Dubai early Tuesday morning. They will take the place of Abdullah Shafique, Imam-ul-Haq, Mohammad Haris, Salman Ali Agha, and Zahid Mehmood, who were part of the 16-man ODI team that played the Netherlands.
Pakistan will play India in their first Group A match on Sunday, 28 August, before facing a qualifier (UAE, Kuwait, Singapore, or Hong Kong) in Sharjah on Friday, 2 September.
The Super Four matches will take place from September 3 to September 9.
