Bangladesh will face South Africa in the third and final One-Day International (ODI) in a bid to win the series for the first time.
The series is presently tied at 1-1 after Bangladesh won the opening match by 38 runs, their first win on South African territory, ending a 19-match losing record before the hosts responded with a seven-wicket triumph over the Tigers.
The third ODI, which has turned out as the series decider, will be played tomorrow at SuperSport Park in Centurion (Wednesday). At 5 p.m. (BD Time)

Tiger all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz in the pre-match press conference said they are confident to give a good completion on their historic win ground Centurion.

"Run is very important in ODI cricket. It is not possible to win even scoring 200 runs, especially on their soil. If we put good total, then it becomes easier to win. We will always be in the game then. The last pitch was not like that, scoring runs. There was uneven bounce, the ball was going up and down. It is very difficult for batsmen. If the wicket was good, it could have been a different picture,” Miraz said.
"The wickets here (Centurion) are very good. Since we played the first match, the wickets are good here, we are also confident because we have scored more than 300 runs here. It is possible to do well if everyone plays with responsibility. If we can give a good total for the bowlers, then I hope the bowlers will be able to defend it too” he added.
Premier all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan was initially doubtful to play the third ODI due to a number of his family members including his two out of three children currently going through various health complications.
He was supposed to return to the country but decided to stay back and play the crucial third ODI. His dedication is further testament of how motivated and desperate the Bangladesh team members are to win the series.
“Shakib Bhai has very tough mentally, we all know. Family issue, it's a big issue. Everyone is supporting him. He is playing well. When family having trouble, everyone feels bad. However, everyone in the team is giving him support” Miraz added.
