The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announces the National Players’ contract for the period of January to December 2022.
Shakib al Hasan with other players having all-format contracts are- Mushfiqur Rahim, Liton Das, Taskin Ahmed and Shoriful Islam.
Despite BCB president Nazmul Hasan Papon’s warning to take a tough stance against Shakib, who was recently suspended from all forms of cricket until April 30 due to a disagreement with the board over his availability for the upcoming South Africa tour, Shakib was retained in the central contract for all three formats of the game.

Mahmudul Hasan Joy and Yasir Ali were included for the first time in the central contract list for Test.
Soumya Sarkar, Abu Jayed, Mohammad Saifuddin, Saif Hassan, and Shamim Hossain are the five players who were left off the BCB's central contract list, which was reduced from 24 to 21 players from last year.
