Mominul reveals celebration secret

Bangladesh Test skipper batsman Mominul Haque revealed why he celebrated his hundred against Sri Lanka so aggressively which he had never done before.
Mominul Haque is the first Bangladeshi player who scored a century in both innings of a Test and not only that after a number of drought runs of matches he clinched his first-innings century in just 96 deliveries, which is very rare of him, where he has been always the clinical defensive-minded Test player of the team ever since the start of his career.
In a Facebook live session ODI skipper of the national team, Tamim Iqbal asked Mominul why he has been so aggressive while celebrating his hundred, where the team has always seen him so polite while celebrating his ton till now.
The left-handed top-order batsman said that as he was lagging behind of the team at that time and was having a tough time of scoring big for this reason he was determined within himself to do something so that he can assure his comeback in the team.
"Honestly speaking, without giving any diplomatic answer, it was hundred Test and before that series, I was dropped off in the first Test against Australia and had bad times in that series. Like everyone have determination among them, I was also determined at that time. It was not like I'll show everyone, but the grace of Allah was upon me and I was willing to do something at that time to make a comeback in the team," Mominul said.
Mominul scored 176 from 174 balls in the first innings against Sri Lanka, where it was also the first assignment for the former Bangladesh coach Chandika Hathurusingha as the head coach of the Lankans. He also said that if he hadn't scored that run then the situation would have been different for him. It was that innings which changed everything and for that celebration, it just came out of the blue. As per him, it wasn't pre-planned.
"If I didn't play well in that match it would have been worse for me. So I was willing heart and soul to perform well, score a big run in that innings. I still the Allah, for that performance every goes well and also I don't adopt those kinds of celebration it comes out automatically," Mominul concluded.
