Bangladesh Cricket Board [BCB] chief said that they will review the contracts of the foreign coaches after the post corona situation and will also see what other cricket boards do in this case then they will reach into a decision.
Due to the coronavirus, there is no game any work at this moment. Like most of the employees, the foreign coaching staff of the Bangladesh team is also on indefinite leave. After the Zimbabwe series on 9 March, the coaches who left for their respective countries are stuck in lockdown. Everyone is waiting for the situation to get normal, so that they can start their work and released from this house arrest.
Akram Khan, head of the BCB's cricket operation, told reporters said that after the situation gets normal they will review it and will take necessary action.
"We have to review it. Four or five months of the year are at lost, there is nothing to do at the moment. If the situation gets normal then these will be discussed in the board," said Akram.

Joining the work of foreign coaches depends on two things. First, how much corona infection has come under control in the coaches' own country. Second, how much improvement the workplace situation in Bangladesh has. For all this reason they might have lost more than five-six of working months from this year. If half of the year passed then where will Bangladesh Cricket Board [BCB] and the foreign coaches contract will last. In this regard, the officials of the board said to a leading Bengali daily that considering the future of the corona situation, the agreement with the coaches will be reviewed if necessary.
Some of the BCB's foreign coaches have been contracted as daily work and some get paid as monthly basis. Head coach Russell Domingo, pace bowling coach Otis Gibson and physio Julian Calefato are contracted on a yearly basis. And the contracts of spin consultant Daniel Vettori, batting coach Neil Mackenzie, fielding coach Ryan Cook are on working days basis. Whatever the type of contract, everyone is working in the Bangladesh team for a certain period of time.
Such as the contract of Domingo's is from August 2019 to August 2021. Vettori's contract began on October 20 last year and will run until November 15, 2020, until this year Twenty20 World Cup.
In this due time, the Kiwi legend will work for the BCB for a total of 100 days. His salary is three and a half thousand dollars per day, the amount after deducting taxes is about two and a half thousand dollars.
Caribbean pace bowling coach Otis Gibson, who joined the coaching staff of the Bangladesh team in this year January, has a contract until January 2022. Physio Calefato, who joined in August last year, has a contract until November 2021. Trainer Nicholas Trevor Lee, who joined the team last March, has a contract until April 2023.
