My competition is against me: Taskin Ahmed

Bangladesh fast bowler Taskin Ahmed said that he is competing with himself to get back in the national team.
Taskin who turns 26 on April 3 is looking to make come back in the national side after being sidelined from March 2018.
Taskin told a leading English newspaper that he is working very hard to make a come back in the national team

‘That [getting picked in the playing Xi] is not in my hand. My job is to do the hard work and I am doing that. When the team management feels right, they will pick me. I am not worried about it’’ Taskin told that newspaper.
‘I don’t take it as a challenge. Whatever I feel, I am not going to disclose it openly. My competition is against me,’ he added.
Taskin’s career took a sharp turn during the ICC World Twenty20 in 2016 when he was reported for having an illegal bowling action and got suspended in March.
