Keeping motivation is the biggest challenge: Mushfiqur

Bangladesh wicket-keeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim said that keeping the motivation is the biggest challenge.
Mushfiqur has to stay at home all day because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The coronavirus pandemic has put all cricket activities into a standstill and the Bangladesh government has advised everybody to stay at home in this period.
Though Mushfiqur is finding it tough to be motivated but he is taking it as a challenge as well
‘’ It is very difficult to be motivated as we do not know when will cricket start,’’ Mushfiqur was quoted in NTV recently.
The wicketkeeper-batsman admitted that he is feeling monotonous staying home for such a long time adding that he is doing regular exercise to keep himself busy.
‘’Trying to enjoy workout. Then again it's natural to feel boredom. Because running on treadmill, doing exercise with the band or knocking with the bat, doing this over and over so it sometime feels monotonous,’’ he said.
‘’But all in all enjoying a lot because, often being into play don't have chance to work on fitness, but now doing extra hard work and enjoying it,’’ he said.
‘’Also hoping whenever the matches starts I can be in my peek fitness and doing that work right now and maintaining my schedule,’’ he said adding that he is missing cricket.
‘’Naturally I am missing cricket a lot, but now at home, trying to shadow with bat or do some knock or tapping the ball every day,’’ he said.
Mushfiqur said that though he is enjoying his time at home he is hopeful that the everything will return back to normalcy soon.
‘’Now spending good time with family and hope that we recover from this disaster and back into our normal lives,’’ he concluded.
