The Bangladesh Cricket Board officials spend a day full of anxiety as they had tried their level best to convince the striking cricketers to sit with them to resolve the present crisis.

Bangladesh cricket is passing the darkest period considering the recent turn of events and it looked that the present crisis needed to be solved at the earliest.

According to BCB insiders there was an optional fitness camp for the cricketers and Mario was expected to conduct it but as the players did not arrive he went back without doing anything.

12:00 PM BCB chief executive Nizamuddin Chowrudhy arrived at that point of time and he provided some sort of hope for resumption of cricket when he announced that he managed to contact with national opener Tamim Iqbal, probably for the first time since the day they announced the historical 11-point demand.

‘’We tried a to communicate with the players after yesterday press conference I have talked with national team player Tamim  Iqbal/we all know these financial problems and solving those problems is a matter of time,’’ Nizamuddin told reporters at the SBNS.

“If they sit with the board problem can be solved. We already have known that [ what their demands are] and if sit together it can be solved,’’ he said regarding the demands that were mostly financial.

1:00 PM BCB president Nazmul Hasan along with CWAB president Naimur Rahman went to Gonobhaban to meet the PM Sheik Hasina and from there came straight to BCB.

BCB media committee chairman Jalal Yunus afterwards said that they are waiting for the players to come and meet them.

The board president is here some other board director is also here you people know we are trying to communicate with the cricketers.we have already said before our door is open,’’ he said.

That’s why we are still in the cricket board. Cricketers can come here,’’ he said.

‘’We are waiting for them we are ready for dialogue or negotiation,’’ he said.

5:45 PM: All of a sudden all the media had to make to their way for Six Seasons as players decided to go in that direction instead of coming to BCB and that showed this saga is not going to end very soon.
