Bangladesh head coach Russel Domingo said on Monday that they are fine with the way Mushfiqur Rahim is performing behind the wickets.
Mushfiqur performance with the keeping gloves raised quite a few eyebrows in the recent past and his silly keeping in the ongoing tri-nation also remained a matter of discussion for many who follows country’s cricket regularly.

‘’Liton is a fantastic fielder, better than Mushi. For me it is important to have a better fielder. Those five or six runs fielders like Liton, Afif and Shanto can save, is very important in the short format,’’ Domingo told reporters at Mirpur on Monday.
“It is one of the reasons. He is a good fielder. Mushy has missed one or two balls. I am generally happy with him behind the stumps. He has good energy and he is a senior player,’’ he said.
‘’He offers [lot of suggestions] the captain from behind the stumps,’’ he said.
On several occasions in the past, he had showed his disgust over losing his role behind the wicket, stating that it had helped him immensely to get a better view of the pitch and that proved beneficial when he batted.
