Bangladesh Cricket Board have planned to prepare for the upcoming Test series against India by sending their A team to take part in a four-day regional cricket tournament in Karnataka.

BCB chief selector Minhajul Abedin told Cricbuzz that they are planning to send the A team to play the tournament as it is highly competitive and would also help few Test cricketers get accustomed to Indian conditions before the three-match Test series gets underway in November.
"We are sending players like Mominul and Taijul to India to play in the four-day tournament as it is highly competitive due to the fact some leading teams of Ranji Trophy also play in it," Minhajul said.
Bangladesh are set to visit India in November later this year to play two Tests this time after they played in the one-off Test in Hyderabad in 2017 in late November this year after a three-T20I series.
