Brian Lara admitted to hospital

West Indies legend Brian Lara has been admitted to the hospital in Mumbai on Tuesday because of chest pain, according media filed by the express.
No further statement regarding his health condition was provided till the filing of this report.
Lara is currently in India covering the World Cup as a broadcaster of Star Sports. He even broadcasted yesterday’s Bangladesh vs Afghanistan match.

Lara is currently fifty years old, he is known as one the gifted batsman of his generation. He holds the record of highest individual test runs of 400.
Lara retired from cricket in 2007, in was included in Cricket hall of fame in 2012.
Lara lost his father Bunty due to a heart attack and paid tribute to him in the podium of Hall of fame.
"This person you see today before you accepting this Hall of Fame honour is someone [my father] moulded,” said Lara.
"He made a special effort to make sure everything was there. I had to work hard... but I knew I had strong support,”
"He ensured that I had everything I needed to succeed as a cricketer and in life, even in trying times,” added Lara.
