Soumya Sarkar makes all his plans to do well in the ongoing Dhaka Premier League (DPL) as he believes it is the only way out to see whether he can execute his plan properly or not.
When some players including captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza and even BCB president Nazmul Hassan saw a gulf of difference between domestic cricket and International cricket, Soumya believes the ongoing DPL is a platform for him to grow the habit of batting for the longer period

“You can see that I went out for 33, 36 and 46 respectively [in the DPL],’’ said Soumya. “I tried to execute the plans and my way of batting was right. I mainly got out with good deliveries. Actually, the day was not mine, but if I can continue batting like this, then I can comeback easily,’’ he said.
“I will try to bat longer in the rest of the matches of the domestic league. It is important to play according to the situation of the team. This will grow in my mind if I think this way. Currently, I am working on that more,’’ he said adding that it won’t be easy to take the preparation in short span of time.
“You can't be prepared blinks of your eye. You can get success easily one day, but on the other days, you need to do lots of hard work to get success. This practice will take time,’’ Soumya remarked.
