The higher authority of Pakistan Cricket, PCB, has “prepared a counter” if India’s BCCI opts to not play the neighbouring nation on June 16 World Cup match in Manchester in the aftermath of Pulwama terror attack, reports.

BCCI has already raised the issue of security concerns in the upcoming World Cup during the ICC Quarterly meet in Dubai, began today. However, PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani, MD Wasim Khan and COO Subhan Ahmad, who are already in Dubai to attend the various meetings and workshops, are also expected to raise their issues.
Meanwhile, the Executive Board meeting is scheduled on Friday and Saturday and the Indian delegation will most likely push the discussion on a letter it has sent to the ICC urging member countries to oust any member country which supports terrorism.
“Pakistan’s stance is that if India wants to give a walkover, it can’t do anything about it. But it will pose a question as to what happens if both countries again qualify to meet each other in the knockout stages,” a PCB official was quoted as saying by PTI.
