Rangpur Riders coach Tom Moody urged his charges to apply according to the condition as he believe the wickets in Dhaka will not be similar like the ones that they received in Chittagong in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League.
Riders will take on Comilla Victorians in their last group phase match of the tournament at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on February 2.
Three batsmen from Riders camp plundered century in Chittagong to give a glimpse of their ability and enthrall the crowd of the port city with some high-scale T20 entertainment.
‘’I think it’s us understanding what brand of cricket we want to play,’’ said Moody.

‘’Making the necessary adjustment and getting used to the conditions,’’ he said.
‘’We are playing at three different venues and they are all different. Obviously as a batting unit we have all enjoyed Ctg, very flat surface, good batting surface,’’ he said.
‘’It enable few of our world class top order players really flex their muscles and they enjoyed batting there. So again we have to make adjustment here in different surface here in Dhaka,’’ he said.
‘’I hope we got surfaces that are good batting surfaces. Because ultimately T20 cricket is about entertainment and it's about exciting sort of batting and bowlers having to adapt to those kinds of conditions,’’ he said.
‘’I’m certainly hoping that we are going to have good wicket so that we have a good contest with score like 160-170,’’ he added.
Moody believe they have they have required resources to replace Alex Hales as he is ruled out due to shoulder injury while they need to make further adjustment to fill the gap expected to surface after the departure of AB de Villers, who is expected to end his BPL campaign with the group phase.
‘’We have got the resources within our squad to make the necessary adjustment and we are confident as much as we miss Alex Hales, the other overseas player will be able to step up and have an impact,’’ said Moody.
‘’We knew from the outset that we had him [AB] for a certain number of matches, so we are prepared for that,’’ he said.
‘’As much as we would as a team, franchise and tournament would love him to play to the end of the final, it's not going to happen,’’ he added.
