Dhaka Dynamites all-rounder Andrew Birch said that they are looking forward to change their fortune once they reach Dhaka as they need to win both their matches to qualify for the last four.
‘We haven’t still qualified. We still have two matches in Dhaka. And we have played very good cricket. So I think we definitely can qualify,’’ said Birch.

Dhaka Dynamites could have won the game against Chittagong Vikings as they were in the till the 17th over but some rash shots from the cricketers including skipper Shakib Al Hasan cost the game by a slender 11 runs margin.
“Today it was a very achievable total to chase in a good wicket. We had outplayed completely by two great players, AB one of the best players in the world at the moment and he came with that knock [in previous game],’’ he said,
‘’It was a game to win for us. Today we bowled nicely to restrict them to 170 odd runs. On this wicket I think this is a great total to chase. A few things went wrong for us. You lost a few wickets in bounce. It’s important to get back together in Dhaka and come back hard on Friday and Saturday nights,’’ he said.
The defeat at the hands of Chittagong Vikings made it fourth straight defeat for them and the fact that would hurt severely them that they won just one match in the last six matched. But Birch wasn’t ready to give up the hopes as he believed that they would regain the momentum very soon.
‘We had a few chances that we should have won. We didn’t finish games off in Dhaka itself. So the momentum didn’t go in our way. We lost a few games but it’s important to gather together and bounce back in Dhaka. The home fans are behind us. I am sure we will do much better than we do,’’ he concluded.
