Dhaka Dynamites begin their Sylhet phase of BPL on Wednesday as they take on struggling Rajshahi Kings in their quest to maintain their winning streak.
The red-hot favourite Dhaka Dynamites so far won their all four matches they played and they played like absolute favourite, winning all in dominating fashion apart from the match against Rangpur Riders.
Albeit they earned the two-run victory over Rangpur with lot of hardship, they showed their never-say-die attitude. The win also proved their batting and bowling depth and gave the rest of the teams in BPL a demo that Dhaka can win a match even from the cornered situation.

Their rivals Rajshahi Kings haven’t had great form to show but they won a match against mighty Rangpur Riders, defending just nine runs in the last over, thanks to a magical bowling from pace bowler Mustafizur Rahman.
The victory also showed Rajshahi’s willpower, something which could mentally boost any side. But Rajshahi stayed inconsistent. Just after winning that cliffhanger, Rajshahi began their Sylhet mission with a 25-run defeat to Khulna Titans, who broke their four-match losing-jinx with that victory.
Nevertheless, what is Rajshahi’s condition, matters little to Dhaka Dynamites, who looked not ready to accept anything barring a victory. They have the large fan following and they have a dream team, so anything but a title will be unacceptable.
Dhaka Dynamites will play two matches in their Sylhet phase—one against Rajshahi today and the other one against hosts Sylhet Sixers on January 18. A victory in two matches would take them closer to sealing the last four spot but such was the determination of Dhaka Dynamites that they won’t be okay with any defeat.
“We want to win both of the matches in Sylhet,” Dhaka coach Khaled Mahmud Sujon said in Dhaka on Monday. “Our Dhaka phase was fantastic and we are keen to carry the momentum.”
Dhaka however was the last team to reach in Sylhet as they landed here on Tuesday and had no practice session.
